Is there a limit to the number of properties that can be listed in HousingPoint?
No. You can have as many properties as you want in the system.

Can I have pictures of my properties which will appear when a user searches?
Yes. When renters select additional information on a property, any pictures associated with that property will be displayed.

How does a person in the community search for properties?
The homepage displays a tab labeled “Renters” to guide the community users through the search process. Once they click on the “Search for Housing” tab, they can elect to search by four methods; Location, Address, School District, and Name.

How does the admin staff maintain the various documents in the system?
Tools are integrated into HousingPoint to allow HousingPoint support staff to edit features, such as help topics, Hot Housing news, and e-mail reminders.

Can I give the screens a local look that can be recognized in the community?
Yes. You can provide your community program logo to Bowman Systems and we will integrate it into the web pages viewed by the community users.

We have a Housing Logo. Can we have it placed on the HousingPoint Screens?
Yes. A place on the screens has been reserved for your housing program logo.

How can we get reports?
The full results of a search can be exported to Microsoft Excel. With Excel you can build reports and/or perform an analysis you may need. There are some basic reports available with the application.

Are Web statistics collected regarding searches performed, affordable housing, etc.?
Yes. All web activity is captured and summarized for use by HousingPoint staff.

How do I update my properties?
HousingPoint provides internal editors that allow staff personnel to maintain all information in the database.

Does the user have to log on to perform searches?
No. Searches can be performed without logging into the system.
11.
Can I save my search results for later use?
Yes. After you locate properties that you want to save for a later time, you will be instructed to log in.
